Data & Statistics

Rainfall, engineering, and casualty data — presented with sourcing, not asserted

Casualty and damage figures for this event are the most politically charged and least consistent part of the public record: estimates in circulation span an extremely wide range, depending on who compiled them, when, from what records, and under what political constraints. This project will not publish a single headline number. Instead, this page will present a comparison table of estimates, each tied to a named source, a publication date, and a methodology note, so a reader can judge the estimate rather than take it on faith.

No entries are published yet. Rows will be added only once a source and its methodology can be stated in full — see Sources & Methodology. No unverified figure will be published here, including ranges commonly seen elsewhere online.
